Mains

Traditional – Bacon, Sausage, Black Pudding, Haggis & Eggs all locally sourced (please let us know if you would like to substitute items e.g. 2 Bacon & no Sausage)

  • Burnside Breakfast – 1 rasher of Smoked Bacon, 1 Sausage, 1 slice Black Pudding or Haggis, 1 Egg (fried, poached or scrambled), 1 large flat Mushroom, half a Tomato, 1 Hash Brown & Beans
  • Burnside Vegan Breakfast – 1 rasher of ‘Bacon’, 1 ‘Sausage’, 1 slice of ‘Black Pudding or Haggis’, Scrambled Tofu, 1 large flat Mushroom, half a Tomato, 1 Hash Brown & Beans
  • Burnside Big Breakfast – 2 rashers of Bacon, 1 Sausage, 1 Black pudding, 1 Haggis, 2 Eggs, 1 large flat Mushroom, half a Tomato, 2 Hash Browns & Beans
  • Burnside Big Vegan Breakfast – 2 rashers of ‘Bacon’, 1 ‘Sausage’, 1 ‘Black Pudding’, 1 ‘Haggis’, Scrambled Tofu, 1 large flat Mushroom, half a Tomato, 2 Hash Browns & Beans
  • Caithness Smokehouse Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs
  • Omelette – 3 Egg Omelette with a choice of the following; Orkney Cheese, Tomato, Bacon, Sausage, Smoked Salmon, Mushroom and/or Herbs

Hummus Toasts – Daily special Homemade Hummus (e.g. Beetroot, Spinach, Oven Roasted Tomato, Plain etc) generously spread on one or two slices of Rye & Sunflower or Farmhouse Toast with the following toppings;

  • Sliced fresh Tomato drizzled with Balsamic & Fig glaze & sprinkled with Black Sesame Seeds
  • Mushrooms, drizzled with Balsamic & Truffle glaze & sprinkled with toasted Pumpkin Seeds
  • Mixed Seeds; sprinkled with a selection of toasted Pumpkin, Sunflower, Black & White Sesame Seeds
  • Two fried Eggs & a sprinkle of Chilli Flakes

Peanut Butter Toasts – Peanut Butter spread on one or two slices of Rye & Sunflower or Farmhouse toast with the following toppings;

  • Sliced Banana, sprinkled with Walnuts and drizzled with Chocolate Sauce
  • Sliced Banana, sprinkled with toasted Pumpkin Seeds & drizzled with Maple Syrup
  • Sprinkled with extra Peanuts, drizzled with Sriracha Hot sauce, Lemon & Honey
  • Berry Compote pot & sprinkled with toasted Pumpkin & Sesame Seeds

Pancakes – American style Pancakes with the following toppings;

  • Sliced Banana, sprinkled with Pecans, generously drizzled with Maple Syrup & served Greek or Dairy Free Yoghurt
  • With two rashers of Smoked Bacon & generously drizzled with Maple Syrup
  • Blueberries, drizzled with Honey/Maple Syrup & served with Greek or Dairy Free Yoghurt
  • Strawberries, drizzled with Chocolate Sauce, sprinkled with grated Dark Chocolate & served with Greek or Dairy Free Yoghurt
  • Berry Compote & served with Greek or Dairy Free Yoghurt

Porridge – A large luxurious bowl of Porridge made with Milk & Cream (Dairy or Oat) with the following additions;

  • Sliced Banana & Maple Syrup
  • Blueberries & Honey
  • Selection of Dried Berries and Nuts
  • Berry Compote
  • Muscovado Sugar
